On Thursday July 12, 2012, Bob spoke to students in PVPHS & below are e-mails he received after the talk:
Dear Mr. Geminder,
It was such a privilege to hear about your Holocaust memories last Thursday July 12, 2012. When you were describing each experience and the struggle to survive through this devastating time, it was difficult to imagine even though it really happened. I thought it was so clever how your mom smuggled you and your brother out of the ghetto, but I feel so bad......To read more what students wrote click below.&

A horrific era  and keeping its memory alive
By Daryl Lubinsky.

From the editor Mary Scott: "....It was a honor to put together this issue of Our Town, which honors handful of the Hill's "greatest Generation"....The two civilians, one a child, were not Americans during the war, but their stories nonetheless cement them as part of a generation that proved it had the courage and the resourcefulness to survive and thrive."

LA Museum of the Holocaust

On October 14, 2010, Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust opened the doors to its new building in Pan Pacific Park. Part of its mission is to provide free Holocaust education to the public, particularly students from under-funded schools and underserved communities. As a survivor Bob was invited to join this program & talks at the museum periodically. Below are some testaments from his talks

Thank you so much for sharing your story with the ADL Young Leadershipgroup on Sunday. We so appreciated your unique perspective and it trulyadded so much to our experience at    LAMOTH.

Thank you again, Jenn

October 11, 2012 Bob attended book launch: “Living Witnesses: Triumph Over Tragedy at Paramount Studios” sponsored by The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust, and A Dime and A Penny Foundation.

The project captured the lives and experiences of Holocaust Survivors from the US, Israel and Europe.

The infamous one hundred and three year old Sir Nicholas Winton, a man responsible for saving the lives of 669 children during the Holocaust, is one of the many Survivors featured in the project. His grandson, Laurence Winton, spoke at this event on his grandfather’s behalf. (2nd from left)
